ST.LOUIS TROTTERS TAKE IBA CHAMPIONSHIP

The St.Louis Trotters brought home the Spring IBA Championship last weekend. In the semi-finals the Trotters took on the #1 seed and undefeated Kenosha Ballers(10-0). The Trotters came away with a close victory 89 to 86 on the Ballers home court as they hosted the playoffs. The Trotters was led by Lonnell Johnson with 24pts Nico Reed with 18pts and Cordell Hadnot 16.

In the finals the Trotters took on the Windy City Blazers. This was a hard fought game for the Trotters. The Trotters was down for most of the game. Down as much as 12 points with 4 minutes left in the game. The Trotters rallied back into the game. Down 3 with .49 sec left, Milan Pepper hit a 3 pointer in the corner to tie the game 107 to 107. The game went into overtime. In overtime the Trotters pulled away from the Blazers with a 16 to 9 run to finish the game with a 123 to 116 victory. The Trotters was led by Milan Pepper with 31pts Lonnell Johnson 29 and Mike Chandler 17.

TROTTERS OPEN UP AT HOME WITH NEW MEMPHIS TEAM

The St.Louis Trotters open up there season against the Memphis Blues a new team that joined the IBA. This will be a early test for the trotters as they begin there quest for a championship.

TROTTERS TAKE HOME OPENER

The St. Louis trotters took on the Hoopville Warriors on Saturday and came out with a big win. The trotters had a big battle with the warriors. The game went back and forth all night with the trotters pulling away with it in the fourth quarter with a 118 to 110 win. The trotters was led by IBA MVP Nico Reed with 26pts 8reb and 7asst. Willie Davis bagged him up with 23pts followed by Lonnel Johnson 16pts 6reb and 6asst. Coming up big off the bench was Chaz Davis with 16pts and 6rebs.

The Warriors was led by DeShaun Munson with 18pts 6rebs and 5asst. Embry chipped in with a double double 16pts and 10rebs.
