St. Louis Trotters Final Game of the Season
Trotters Season Finale’
Trotters bring out Legend Camp and Share My Kickz Foundation at Half Time for last game of the season
The season was filled with twists and drama yet the Trotters finished strong in the IBA-PBL League 2013 Spring/Summer Session. The Trotters finish the season against Springfield Xpress a team that has bested them 3 out of the 4 times they have met. The Trotters have added new firepower bringing in Matt Sturdivant and Brian McGee. When reached for comment Head Coach Harold Webster says,
“There are going to be challenges in this league because of the top talent they recruit into their system. We are a young franchise and expect to bring something special and unseen for years to St. Louis. I am inspired by the talent, hardwork, and dedication of persons like DeWarren Smith, Jackie Phillips, and others to bring our organization to a new level.”
Coach Webster has a right to be excited with the number of activities and plans they have to expand in the off season. Be sure to catch the St. Louis Trotters this Sunday, where attendees will be treated to a special live performance from Legend Camp and half time presentation from Rhonika Jones of Share My Kickz Foundation.
This summer the St. Louis Trotters Plan to expand their presence by co-hosting a 2013 Peace Fest Basketball Tournament with Better Family Life Inc., holding free community basketball camps, hosting mixers and networking events, and merchandising their popular Trotters Brand throughout the city. DeWarren Smith, Director of promotions and Lead Marketing Manager says, “We are the New No Limit, we are independent, the city is behind us and our ties within the community will be deeper than ever thanks to hardwork by our entire staff.” The Trotters are very hopeful and full of positivity, although when Mr. Smith was asked about their competition from Floyd Irons and Demetrius Johnson, he declined to comment only saying that, “we don’t have any competition, I know what i’m capable of and we are all determined to take the Trotters and St. Louis to the next level.” He was referring to a plan he has been working on since he and the President/Owner of the team, Milan Pepper had discussed from the beginning. Mr. Smith believes that the St. Louis Trotters franchise will bring jobs and commerce to the region. There are many challenges but the front office seems commited to their vision. [-Nicky Blair]
