Winning on the Road the Trotters Start the Season with a 2-0 Record
In their first road game of the 2013 Spring/Summer session the St. Louis Trotters are off the a great start defeating the Kenosha Ballers 96-92 in Wisconsin. Leading the charge tonite was Milan Pepper with 26pts 6 Reb. 5 assists, and 4 steals. The team is very pleased with this start this session. And rightly so. After a come from behind win versus the Chicago Redline in their season opener the Trotters took that intensity on the road to Kenosha Wisconsin! With only a 7 man squad due to player availability and injuries the Trotters pulled out a tough road win! A rep from the team shared his opinion on tonight’s game saying that, “The Ballers are an extremely technical team, they are strong at every position but we feel we have something to prove and expect to bring another championship home to.the great city of St. Louis, MO; this is our session to bring home the gold.” This Friday the St. Louis Trotters face the 5-time Champion Kankakee County Soldiers at Mathews Dickey’s Loynd Gymnasium 3/22/13 at 7pm. This game is guaranteed to be a sign of what the playoffs will look like as both teams are 2-0 and see each other as a threat to IBA-PBL supremacy.
